Jonathan Katz

After having grown up in a family where there was a strong insurance industry "influence", Jonathan began his college career at the University of Iowa and after his sophomore year returned to Chicago. While completing his advanced education at DePaul University, he worked in the insurance industry at a major Chicago based insurance brokerage firm, assisting in the development and implementation of a new technology based marketing resource.

Since joining JR Katz in 2006, Jonathan has established background in both the corporate benefits and wealth transfer planning capabilities of JR Katz. As a licensed insurance advisor, his current efforts are focused on assisting clients in the implementation of programs tailored to their planning needs. His youthful energy and client oriented perspective combine to deliver "high touch" service to our entrepreneurial clients.
