Michael Schneider, MBA *

Mike manages JR Katz's Corporate Benefits Division. With over eight years experience in the financial consulting industry, he works extensively with prospective clients regarding new business opportunities. Additionally, Mike works with corporate clients helping them design, implement and manage cost-effective and administratively sound benefit strategies.

By providing in-depth benefit design modeling analysis, Mike helps employers to understand the current financial position of their plan, derive financial projections, and quantify the financial impact of plan changes. Mike was integral in the creation of JR Katz's proprietary benefit plan modeling software, IMPACT. IMPACT is an analytical modeling tool which enables companies to interactively identify, evaluate and select plan design strategies, while quantifying the economic impact.

Prior to working at JR Katz, Mike spent several years working for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche with a specialization in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago. Additionally, he holds several FINRA securities licenses.
